What is RFID?Quoted from Wikipedia: Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the wireless use of electromagnetic fields to transfer data, for the purposes of automatically identifying and tracking tags attached to objects. RFID tags are used in many industries, especially in payment card industry.

How the RFID protection card holder works?
    Some opinions:

Keep in mind that RFID stands for Radio-frequency identification, which is the wireless use of electromagnetic fields to transfer data. A person with the intent to steal your valuable information through an RFID scanner in close proximity to your valuable cards can only potentially scan cars of yours that have a magnetic strip, ie debit cards, credit cards, building access proximity cards and other similar such cards. While your Social Security Card is VERY valuable to you, the number cannot be read via an RFID scanner because it is simply a piece of paper with a number on it. So there is no need to protect it in an RFID sheath. However, I am aware that some do have magnetic strips.

The Holder do not block RF signals like those used in RFID. The RF signals are blocked by the metal (such as aluminum) using an electromagnetic device known as a Faraday Cage. The metal creates an area which is impervious to external RF waves, making it impossible to read the RFID cards. The pockets are merely there for organization purposes.

    New Gift Package:
A very nice gift box replace the previous carton box. This new gift package will protect the RFID Blocking Card Holder better. Best choice if you are looking for a gift.

Purchased this for my wife. She wanted something that is good looking, was small, and is easy to use. I wanted something that would protect her cards from hackers scanning them, just in case. This was perfect. She was showing it off to me yesterday. She loves it!😍😍

My wife wanted this for her small wristlet purse. It holds the basic cards she wants to carry when she is using a smaller purse. Some cards are thicker and she has only 1 card that sits alone in the slot she managed to get 9 cards in total to fit, the case will stay latched. The case has a brushed finish keeps it from being full of finger pints. It is light weight and not bulky, just big enough so she does not have to carry her regular wallet. Our daughter tried it in her smart phone case and it fit nicely so she is going to buy one of this card wallets for herself.

Meet all my expectations. Compact more than any other wallet, easy and convenient to use for credit cards and other cards like driver license, for example. Can fit a couple folded bills instead of the card.

After struggling shopping this past Christmas season with fashionable, heavy handbags, it became clear that I had reached the age where comfort was more important. I searched for and found two cross body bags (Baggallini and Travelon) to allow safe, comfortable shopping. Then I wondered how much lighter could I make the load and changed my classic Bosca leather wallet for one of these.

This thin credit card case is easy to use, just a quick push of the button and it gently pops open; another quick click and it shuts nice and tight. I imagine this would work well for aging hands, too. I now keep my important cards, credit and license, in this and other types of cards in the slots in the two cross body bags. This is so much nicer looking than the typical bright colored aluminum ones and looks like it could cost much more. Looks more like a ladies version of an RFID-blocking case than most others.

this is my second time to purchase this. We have a lot of chlorine in our water and I always know when they add it because it smells so strong but never in my shower. And it lasts even longer than a year with 2 people taking long showers every single day. Very happy with this item.

I bought this as a replacement to a traditional men’s wallet that I had been using for, well, most of my life. Because the basic concept of this metal wallet is in minimalism, I knew that there might be an adjustment period in feeling comfortable using this new “streamlined” approach. However, I personally have found that this new wallet is surprisingly easy to get used to. In practice, I didn’t actually need half of the stuff that I always previously carried around with me.

      CORE FUNCTIONALITY:
Right now, I’ve got 5 cards (a driver’s license, 3 debit/credit cards, and a transit pass) and a few bills (folded over, of course) all sitting comfortably inside the little accordion-style pouches. You can sometimes fit two cards inside one pouch (assuming the cards don’t have those embossed numbers that most credit cards do), but doing so certainly stretches the physical capacity of the pouches, and it becomes notably difficult to insert/remove the cards in this manner. Advice: stick to one card per pouch (six of them, in total).
As to the RFID feature, it works. I tested it at a pay terminal and the terminal could not read any of my RFID enabled cards through the wallet. Not from either side or end to end or bottom to top. The cards could not be read. So, it has that going for it.

      QUALITY/AESTHETICS:
I love the look/feel of the wallet. Someone told me it looks like one of those shiny cigarette cases, and that’s certainly true. It just comes across as very classy. That is, at least, when it’s brand new. I’m sure it can get scratched up pretty significantly (as I read happened in other reviews for similar products), but I’ve been using it every day for a week, and not a scratch to be seen. This wallet weighs [empty] 2.8 oz or the same weight as 12 quarters. By comparison, my traditional leather men’s wallet weighs [empty] 2.05 oz. So this steel wallet has some heft to it, but by no means is it uncomfortable. I’ve been carrying it in my front pocket (I was getting tired of the “butt bulge” from my old wallet), and after putting in my pocket, I generally forget it’s there until I need it. I am very impressed with the build quality of the wallet as a whole. I also have no doubt the stainless steel hinge will last a long time, as compared to those plastic hinges on other hard wallets.

      CONCLUSION/OTHER THOUGHTS:
I can see myself using this wallet for a long time to come. It’s ironic, even though this wallet is marketed as a travel wallet, I plan to use this wallet in an everyday fashion, and maybe bring my big, traditional men’s wallet along in my luggage when I travel, so as to have the most methods of backup resources when away from home base.

Its great I can keep my debit and credit cards in this. I did have a lot of money taken out of my credit card. I was shocked when I heard people can scan your numbers on your by walking by you. I couldn’t understand how they got my numbers without the card and now I know. Buy it!!
      I feel protected.

A really nice little wallet! I was expecting something flimsy and cheap, but this actually feels reasonably sturdy and is just the right size to hold both my IDs, my insurance card, and three debit/credit cards! The only thing I wish it could do beyond than was hold my a business card or two, but the pockets inside that hold the cards are too short unfortunately. Still thought, I am very happy with this purchase, as I can now replace my large leather wallet with a small, simple metal one that can go in my front pocket rather than in my back pocket.

This is really a great wallet. I had a couple of Aluma Wallets before and the plastic clasp kept breaking. I have 10 items in this one and sometimes it “pops” open. No problem, just use a key to pry the steel clasp up a little bit and it will stay closed. I really like this wallet

The main purpose of the Kinzd Aluminum Metal Wallet is to stop thieves from stealing information from the RFID chips embedded in many credit cards. I only have on credit card that has a RFID chip and I wrap it in an aluminum sheath so I am not overly concerned with data theft but this durable metal wallet is still a nice alternative to carrying around my big bulky leather wallet.

The wallet is lightweight, smaller(3.75″ x 2.5″) and much thinner (only 1/2″ thick) than my leather wallet so I can easily carry it around in my front pocket. Due to its smaller size I can’t carry as much as my leather wallet but I can still carry everything I need. There are six pockets designed to carry six credit cards but there is room to double up cards in the four inner pockets so you can carry a max of ten credit cards. I keep my drivers license in an outer pocket, some cash in the other outer pocket, four credit cards in two of the inner pockets, and two medical cards and my library card in the other two inner pockets. Everything I need to carry and unlike my leather wallet everything is securely contained in the metal wallet so there is no chance of anything sliding out.

I like the streamlined design of the wallet but the metal seems to pick up and show fingerprints easily. It is probably not a big deal to most but I find myself cleaning off the fingerprints quite a bit. Another minor quibble I have about the appearance of the wallet is that I find it a little plain looking. I plan on remedying that problem by having some engraving done on it and it will then look really classy. Overall, this is a very nice wallet.
